Local Indigenous History
View the Future (VtF) is committed to preserving and documenting the rich history of Indigenous communities and their connection to the land.
Yachats, Oregon, has a rich history, from its origins as home to the Alsea people to its transformation into a coastal village with homesteads in the 19th century. Today, it blends its heritage with a vibrant, environmentally conscious community, celebrated for its natural beauty and artistic charm. At View the Future, we are dedicated to preserving and sharing these stories of our local history.
